► Instructor: Patrick Chew: Patrick has been a member of the California Fire Prevention profession since 1995 rising to the rank of Captain/Supervising Fire Inspector. Pat has taught for years at the Sierra College Community College, Fire Technology Program. Prior to the fire service, Patrick started his career in the fire protection world through the highly protective risk insurance companies. He is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University. He also received his fire protection certification from UCLA. Currently Pat serves as Co-Chair on the Fire Service Education Committee for the Northern California Fire Prevention Officers Association.

Course Description: This course offers an explanation and analysis of the mathematical equations, functions and calculations of water hydraulics as it relates to fire sprinkler systems and water demand. Participants will learn and practice with the various methods used to perform hydraulic calculations.
►What to bring: Must bring NFPA 13, 2016 Edition and a scientific calculator.
