Training Topic: ESS Plan Review; Instructor: Robert Marshall  
Description: This course provides a comprehensive understanding of residential energy storage systems (ESS) with a focus on safety and compliance.  It covers the latest fire codes and guidelines, including the California Fire Code and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 855 standard, which governs the installation, maintenance, and operation of energy storage systems.  Students will learn about battery technologies, system design considerations, risk mitigation strategies, and the critical requirements for fire safety in residential applications.  Through real-world case studies and interactive exercises, participants will gain practical knowledge on how to apply these codes to ensure safe and effective implementation of ESS in residential settings.
