Mary Eriksen-Rattan Award
Recognizes outstanding achievement and dedication in the field of public fire and life safety education. Named in honor of Mary Eriksen-Rattan, this award celebrates individuals whose commitment to community education has made a lasting impact on public safety.

Charles H. Gray Award & Scholarship

Stuart Tom Building Official of the Year Award
Recognizes a Building Code Official whose leadership, collaboration, and commitment to code compliance have significantly advanced fire prevention and strengthened the partnership between the building and fire service professions. Renamed in 2024 to honor Stuart Tom's extraordinary contributions to the profession, this award celebrates excellence in protecting California's built environment.
